Environmental investigations in Eastern Europe

In Germany and Western european countries environmental situation is quite investigated, but in some countries of Eastern Europe there are great problems with environmental pollution. There are some reasons for such state, e.g. the absence of working experience in field of environmental investigation and problems with suitable laboratory equipment.
In according with the above mentioned it´s reasonable to set an office for environmental investigations up in Belarus in Grodno. Grodno is located near the border with Poland (14 km) and Lithuania (25 km).
The members of our working group are:
Dr. Rainer Haas, analytical chemist and owner of an office in Marburg/Germany for environmental investigation, especially for investigation of former munition plants.
Dipl. Chem. Olga Tsivunchyk, biochemist, Ph.D.; Dipl. Rev. Interpreter russian/english.
Prof. Dr. Slavomir Anufrick, Chief of Laser physic Department Grodno State University.
The members of the office speak english, german, russian and polish. So our group is able to install and manage projects not only in Belarus, but in Poland and other countries of former CIS too.
Being rev. translator Ms. Tsivunchyk has permission to make official translations for domestic and foreign contacts. During TACIS Project „Environmental conversion of CW facilities, Caprolactam, Dzerzhinsk (Russia)“ in 2001 Ms. Tsivunchyk worked together with Dr. Haas for interpretation in field of chemistry.
As known specialist in Belarus, Poland and Ukraine Prof. Dr. Anufrick has a lot of scientific contacts with official Institutes, Universities and Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Belarus in Minsk.
Dr. Haas is working in field of environmental investigation in Germany for more than 15 years not only in field of environmental analysis, but in fields of toxicology and field investigation too. Partly, he is owner of gaiasafe Ltd., a company which has developed fibre materials for water purification and investigation.
We are interested to spread our contacts with other companies in the same field of researching, espacially in the installing of international projects.
